5 Tips for Better Self Care
Managing Illness
Dealing with an illness, new or old, creates a lot of change in your life and your body. These changes can lead to anxiety, depression, fear, anger, to name a few. Together we can come up with strategies and tools to better manage these symptoms.
Cancer Care
Whether it’s a new diagnosis, dealing with side effects, or trying to figure out, “what now” when treatment is over; I can help you process this trauma to your body and find your way to a new normal.
Healthcare Navigation
If dealing with the medical system feels like a foreign country and language, I’ve got you covered. I can help you figure out how to advocate for yourself and get the care you deserve.
Grief and Loss
Grief is defined as, “the normal and natural emotional reaction to loss or change of any kind”. So much of what we experience as anger and sadness is actually grief. And while it’s all completely normal, we don’t talk about it nearly enough and that can leave you feeling alone. By simply talking about your grief I can help you move through it so you don’t get stuck.
